Ever thought about how getting older doesn't make us wiser, but rather makes us slower-in-the-mind, more demented, schizotypal, bitter and rotten? Every generation is currently falling down through a steep cognitive decline, obsessively clinging to a past that no longer matters nor evokes any nostalgia. The technology made us lazier, offloading our thinking to do the work for us, truly convincing ourselves that we don't have time for anything else besides watching slop and to complain about everything on social networks regarding those very same few trendy topics over and over again. Trapped in a cargo cult mindset, waiting for a savior that is never coming to rescue, as if they would pull us out from despair. Stepping away from the screen to walk outside has become somewhat more enjoyable than being online, but even going out won't help much, all we do is buy plastic trash we don't really need and consume junk food that does more damage to our health, spending money on shit that wants to exploit us.

Are you completely unaware of what's been going on? We are witnessing a total atrophy of the very people we once used to look up to, admired celebrities and artists becoming lunatics, having public meltdowns, outed as pedophiles and grifters who only care about your money, ending up as caricatures of their former selves. The industry has run out of ideas, so they just dig up corpses of classic old franchises, using an “anniversary” to force it back into the spotlight, by slapping on some modern “polish” and expects us to clap, or attempts to stay relevant through controversy because of hate-watchers.

corona-chan has forcefully exposed what was once buried deep inside the figureheads of popculture and hollywood and possibly even those above, this should not be viewed as a sad course ofevents, but rather a blessing.
