I'm anti organised religion. There's nothing wrong with half a dozen people going to someone's home and praying to a God they, or someone else invented. But anything bigger than that is problematic.

i started talking to a nice guy but he got really into jesus talk at me randomly. about heaven and hell. and saving. i was frustrated. cuz i thought he was hot. but when people talk to me about their christianity, im so uncomfortable. always feels like theyre talking down to me. and why wouldnt they be. I'm going to hell cuz im not w christian. thats crazy. i dont even wanna discuss heaven or hell. one day i learned where adolf Hitler ended it wasnt hell
if any other religion person talks to me, i dont feel like they are talking down to me at all and im down to explore and have a conversation. but christianity conversations suck

I've noticed that too but people with less popular religions are more likely to be timid because they're more likely to get laughed at.
Back in the early 90s, one of the things which reinforced the idea that religion was fake for me was reading that brain scans showed religious thought caused addiction part of the brain to light up like a Christmas tree.
When you are talking to an evangeliser they are getting high right in front of you. It makes me more understanding of their situation. It always seems to be young men. But you see young people with obsessions. I had music as an obsession back in the day.

Admittedly I don't have to deal with proselytizing much, but as a generally anti-social person I feel like if you're outgoing enough to talk to random strangers on the street (or even more boldly to knock on their door and ask to come into their house) then there's really better ways you could be spending your time while also ministering. Working in a meal kitchen feeding homeless or delivering meals to the elderly or organizing clothing or school supply drives for the poor. But I can also see Penn Jillette's point about it's better to try to convert non-believers because that's what your religion teaches than to simply let them be condemned to hell by your own inaction. But me personally, I'm not looking to spend my time debating.
Nowadays though I feel like there's a majority of "Christians" who just kind of look at people and judge them like "that person's gonna go to Hell" and it doesn't bother them enough to intervene, which is beneficial for me as an asocial type, but it's also a net negative because then their beliefs are flexible and not reinforced by actions, so they just make mental excuses for other things that they don't really want to deal with that are actual problems like poverty and homelessness and food insecurity etc. But if it's something painless like checking a box on a ballot because somebody said they're gonna do X, Y, and Z then they'll do that and maybe even campaign for it a little bit because it's easier to offload the work of finding solutions onto someone else.

So about Christians. Take Trump and his MAGA followers and how they treat Immigrants.
Thing is Jesus Christ's parents were exactly that and Jesus was born in Bethlehem. Guessing Jesus did not get Birthright Citizenship.
Anyway it's great seeing so many Christians who are 99% from immigrants. Both of Trump's parents were 100% German.
Trump current is married to a immigrant. Trump imported many of her relatives into the USA and gave them green cards.
Just one more example of Christians and how they cough cough emulate Jesus.
