I stopped daily surfing cause of poor balance and moved inland while Cardiff house was/is going into total re-build and then put re-build on hold to use contractor to work on other houses I lease out - THEN a Baja Hurricane moved in and the visuals just drew me in and in and in.
Bottom line is after daily rebuilding my skills to tackle the larger waves (failed to ride the largest) I am ALL in - Just spent 2 pre sunrise hours on my most Fav horse and am ready to hit what is just 3-4 feet waves which is more about being with friends in my Ocean a Blue.
Cousin? She is married for 3rd time and lives hours away even by Air. We still have fun chats on phone. Talk about what each has discovered along the years with other partners. Seems to me at my advanced age it ends up a lot like how one can discover a new cuisine that Rocks the mouth and senses.
Now with a long term Ex GF now turned into current GF - All I can say IS the World out there still has so much going for it and so much to learn from it.
Off to Carlsbad and my Ocean a Blue for a couple or 3 hours in most perfect weather with not so perfect Surf conditions and IT WILL BE FUCKING WONDERFUL.
