Well yeah. You dont have to look too hard to see already their ilk has been glazing the character ever since Fal&WinSol and even now with the TB* movie. Hyper-polarization is relatively new. The proponents of the 'abundance agenda' seeking to rectify over-regulation wrought by hippy citizen-activism is new, just like when Teddy Roosevelt created progressivism or when abolitionist Whigs and Democrats formed the GOP. Maga is neither Republican nor Democrat, which means a lot of disaffected voters who care about the founding documents and rule of law can form a new coalition. I'm thinking a long the lines of Jefferson and Madison's Democratic-Republican Party. Fauxgressives of today shouldn't be taken too srsly. They can't win elections. Comics are fantasy. The reactionary sees propaganda, intentional or no.
