I never viewed internet culture as a good, but the consumer has become the commodity without net neutrality. Radio and TV's influence on culture involved participation but not at the expense of agency. Once novelty wears off, nothing ever gets better.

It wouldn't be so bad if the internet hadn't made it so, but things can always get better without/ apart from it. I still think it's possible to have a culture where priority is placed saving lives without destroying any. A new perspective is in order.
