For clarity, should we 'listen and act'(cf Mt.7), it is 'His work which He brings to completion in us' (Phil 1:6). Today, with religion being downstream from politics, adherents to the divisive lobbies of human endeavor risk the prideful error of viewing themselves as orthodox and the other lobbies heretical. Agenda then becomes a self-righteous plank that blinds shepherds from being able to help anyone else see with clarity, especially since they are plagued by evil suspicion. I'm a poor sinner who tried to help and I leave the judging to God. I think this is the way it's supposta be. hth
