Vance should unilaterally invoke the 25th Amendment and temporarily assume control until someone can make manic man understand that this consumer tax to offset his prior cuts is upending the division of labor and bringing about supply chain collapse. If famine and plague can be averted, why not do it?

Why are you telling me what to do?

Put another way, Adam Smith may have illustrated how protectionism fails to protect domestic production and Smoot-Hawley demonstrated its self-defeating nature, but mercantilism was about trying to 'protect' existing means of production, not trying to create something that doesn't exist. Every other country could engage in free trade without us until the rest of America figures this out, I guess. Then treaties bound by law can protect against the instability of executive actions.

Non sequitur, unless illogic and tribalism are the only speech allowed. My rights end where yours begin, and vice versa, in a 'live and let live' world. I'm not in the habit of telling others what to do, I don't feel threatened. But perhaps I offer a different perspective since I reject the two parties.

Idk who buzz lightyear is since I was already an adult when the cartoon came out and I never liked children's programming. If reading Asimov instead of Dr. Seuss makes me a retard, okay then.
