I honestly never understood it. I see theres a bunch of communities to talk about whatever. Jokes, memes, shitpost etc. Yet I never got a true handle of how one should act or not online. Take TC for example I've read a lot of absurdist shit on here and at times it feels like im witnessing a double dutch session as im trying to figure out when and how to jump in to participate. Been online on and off for 10 years yet feels like I still live under a rock but ive mostly used it to find and download media or read stuff of my interest but i never made actual attempts in socializing. If I had do any real socializing I think talking to people IRL would be much easier than talking to people because in truth I couldn't keep up with the jargon anyways.

Freedom on the internet is bad for society.

I dont think my issue with the internet is freedom. I'm just coming my own realization that apart from perhaps taking too many things too literal and too seriously which causes me to be in my head most of the time. I also dont spend enough time lurking online to understand how social interactions work. Ive always been kind of just "do whats necessary. Get in, get out"

It’s okay. I know you’re not saying that, but I am.

Internet freedom is the equivalent of letting the kids loose in the sewer and saying it’s better than North Korea because there are at least no rules down there. It’s not really worth it.

you just gotta roll with it. say something meaningless, post a random image, don't think about it.

Historically inaccurate picture. Everything is chrome in the future.

Freedom from the internet means being disaffected by the flood of propaganda. Very few find this freedom anymore since they are addicted and completely demoralized. As Yuri Bezmenov warned, when a person is demoralized, facts no longer matter. Since they can't be reasoned with, they will only learn by experiencing hardship. Ironically enough, the only silver lining is that greater suffering is coming for us all.

The greater irony is that Bezmenov thought the left in America was the greater threat, but then Reagan and GHWBush's positions were antithetical to the modern right.

Americans say 911 is busy because of budget cuts, but maybe the real reason 911 is busy is because everything is illegal.
