Topic: Asian Americans

Not to be like racial or anything, but Asian Americans who immigrated to this country are idiots.
If you were smart you would have gone to Canada instead.

I thought they do go to canada tho. Plus white ppl seem like to prefer them anyway from what ive seen.

ironically, canada has a waaaaayyyyyy higher barrier to entry than the US.(we really should at least get on canadas level at bare minimum) so the theres a significant dumbass bias in USasian populations that adds an extra punny factor.

I mean ive seen the requirements for entry. Theyre not too difficult if anything its a step above US depending on the option you use to get in. I technically could go to CA with my current credentials but all I would need money, a job and some place of residence. Most japanese, Chinese and Indians(especially Indians) for example have emigrated over there. Mostly tech and healthcare.

I used to live in Mississippi and there were two Asian guys in my school out of a thousand students.
If anybody ends up in Mississippi, you’re fucking up in life because Mississippi ain’t it.

And if you’re wondering, "what’s so wrong with Mississippi?" Everything. You know how when countries are ranked North Korea is always the worst at everything good? Well, Mississippi is the closest thing the United States has to a North Korea.

What’s a for instance of a black majority country that has fewer black people than Mississippi?
+Anonymous G — 5 months ago, 14 minutes later, 1 day after the original post[T] [B] #673,184
The Mississippi Plan in response to Reconstruction doomed the state to squalor. The parties switched stances during the civil rights movement yet little progress was made since. The only major change in the 21st century was replacing the hard R N-word with "woke". I guess the new Republicans think this form is a more 'polite' attack but the terms are interchangeable anymore.

Tbh I’m black and when I lived in Mississippi, all the white kids at school thought I was a genius. Mississippi has the most anti intellectual culture of anywhere I’ve ever been in my whole life. The racism in Mississippi is different from Nazi racism, which I think is what you probably are. In Mississippi they have confederate racism. Now southern confederate racism is a lot different than Nazi racism. In the south, blacks aren’t considered dumb. White people in the south don’t even want to be smart, if you say something smart, you’re weird to them. I’m not even joking, if you’re ever in Mississippi, they’re actually like this.

It’s really hard to understand if you’re an alt right racist, but in Mississippi they have a really weird culture where there are people who are racist against black people, who don’t hate black people. They’re not exactly evil, they’re just stupid beyond belief. There was a woman in Mississippi who came up to me smiling one time trying to have a casual conversation about how "slavery wasn’t that bad." And she was genuinely really happy and smiling and didn’t see anything wrong with it, because it didn’t compute in her tiny little southern brain that I’m not a white person. Trying to blame the problems of Mississippi on black people… even if you’re a nazi and you hate black people if you actually go to Mississippi and talk to white people there, if you have even the tiniest sliver of intelligence, you’re going to realize the black people aren’t the problem lol.

Louisiana and Arkansas were the same way when I passed through but I was a minority rejected by all but a few blacks. Back in Reservation land and people are just people for the most part.

Tbh Mississippi is weird in that, it is incredibly racist sometimes, but even the most racist people ever will still smile at you and have a conversation about whatever so I actually made a lot of friends. They’re really nice people they’re just really not smart. I sound like I’m hating on Mississippi, but there are things I did like about it.

I recall people were nicer in Louisiana but I only lived there in 1976.

I dont know. I mean I guess I can see the whole "they're racist because they're unintelligent" but that sounds they're willfully retarded. Like day in day out you'll see them do the wildest shit and sometimes I wonder why dont blacks pull the same shit on them to the same degree?
·Anonymous H — 5 months ago, 4 minutes later, 1 day after the original post[T] [B] #673,196
Like they say "racism is learned nobody was born with it" so maybe some them folks are simple minded but I also dont want to minimize their stupidity like its some cute little quirk that southern country bumpkins who occasionally slip out the hard R will still be nice to you and bring you pie or whatever.

I just realized nobody knows what I'm talking about. The term "woke" originated in the early 20th century from black culture; "so I advise everybody, be a little careful when they go along through Alabama - stay woke, keep their eyes open" ~ Huddie Ledbetter aka Lead Belly. I don't know if the term was co-opted by sexual identity activists but it was weaponized in the last election cycle. Being aware isn't a bad thing but I don't get scapegoating minorities to demagogue the issues. The original meaning is lost, I guess. RIP, Wake Self

If some idiot comes and calls me "woke" I just respond. I rather be "woke" than be "coma" which nowadays is all you see.

Siyo. Eyes open and knowing where you come from is how to survive their attempts to revise history. The rightist activist lacks empathy since they didn't suffer the consequences of true history, and some of them claim teaching comprehensive history accurately is 'political correctness'. They miss the point entirely that those who are ignorant of history are doomed to repeat it... or maybe they do want to repeat it. It's not part of any 'grievance industry' to hear everyone's story and acknowledge that the 'past' is still reality for a great many. I'd rather see progress that learns from mistakes. Therein lies hope for a better future for all, no matter where we come from. I think because they hate they think we are like them, but we just want to survive and live in peace. ᏙᏓᏓᎪᎲᎢ
