I can explain the paradox of the last being first and the first being last. When the Son of Man returns as He says He will (there is no rapture, no third temple nor any of the intrinsically perverse mega-church eschatology), He will place the sheep on His right and the goats on his left. From our perspective that means the sheep are on the left and goats on the right. Anyway, the Master will reveal those who did for Him and those who did for themselves. The sheep will ask "when did we do this?" since they were only acting from a store of good, but the goats will ask "when did we not?" since they delude themselves that their performative self-righteous acts are of service to God. The 'ordo amoris' is this: "Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it".
