Topic: Making soap from recycled cooking oil (for fun)

So I’m going even deeper on this recycled cooking oil internet rabbit hole. There are people on Reddit making soap out of recycled cooking oil for fun and I found a Japanese website that gives detailed instructions on how to create soap out of used cooking oil.

I also found an entire news website dedicated to nothing but olive oil for some reason. And it appears to not even be satirical.

I heard old people before say back in the 80s Japan was known for technology and science and all that so old white people think the Japanese are super smart. I didn’t know that’s what they were doing back then. Recycled cooking oil chemistry experiments. How about that? Fascinating!
