I tried finding an American equivalent to comiket(JP) but there's nothing like it of the sorts. and no im not talking about NYCC/SDCC those are geared towards be name mainstream creators and its just lame. even the smaller cons are not really any better. I like to see the self published(doujinshis) of artists here in the US especially in the NSFW department but our "culture" is rigid, boring and just one big caricature. So call "freedom" yet we all bitch and cry over a drawing of fictional tiddies and a fun plot filled with sex and action.

i think the better question is why youd even want this? american comics are largely homoslop, western cartoons are are ugly and revel in their own mediocrity, and frankly even the good western porn artists are insufferable twats that deserve to be kemono'd into burgerflipping.

actually you have somewhat of a point. Ive seen western nsfw art/rule34 content and its just garbage. Poor understanding of art fundamentals, trite subject matter(bimbos, furries, vore, bbc/bwc worship, incest), very poor/unclear art direction and sloppy, lazy cash grabs.
I guess perhaps Id like somewhat a shift where we elevate that type of stuff to the point that it becomes commonplace and it can even become a commodity. but yeah western cartoons look horrendous.
