Topic: Sam Altman

Elon Musk offered $97.4bn to take over OpenAI. In response Sam Altman posted this on X: "no thank you but we will buy twitter for $9.74 billion if you want."
I swear I did not like anything about Sam Altman until I read that that happened. Imagine getting offered almost a hundred billion dollars and then turning it down with an insult. He better not back down from saying that or he’s never gonna live that one down. Lol

Upon further inspection it appears that Sam Altman does not have 9.74 billion dollars. Interesting.

@668,697 (B)
Nor did Elon have the cash necessary to buy Twitter and had to finance it.

At least Elon's running out of runway here, and AI is the new hotness. I can live with him not winning.

@OP
thats not principals, thats the mistaken belief that his AI is worth far more than what Musk is offering.
