Topic: This is weird
+Anonymous A — 7 months ago #67,214
There are about a thousand Irish people in Japan. But every year there is a St. Patrick’s day parade in Tokyo that has about 100,000 people in attendance. So 100 times as many people are at the St. Patrick’s day parade in Tokyo as there are Irish people in Japan. I was just looking at some random stuff on Wikipedia and found that out. You know what? Japan is just weird. Nothing they do makes sense. I wanna say something but there is literally nothing happening in my brain.

Like imagine if you found out there were 100x as many people attending a 4th of July parade in India as there are Americans in India. How does that happen?

Maybe they’re Japanese Americans or something. That’s the only thing that slightly makes sense and even that barely makes sense.

@OP
People looking for another reason to party.
I go to all kinds of events of other cultures. I attend Asian festivals for the food and music.

What percentage of Japanese people know where Ireland is on a map?
