What do atheists think about the idea that humans were intelligently designed by aliens that came down to earth and modified our DNA?

There is no designer; just because we make products doesn't mean there's a creator who made us, just because we made computers doesn't mean we live in a computer simulation (we would've probably noticed if that were to be the case). What's next? Are you gonna say that the Mandelbrot set was designed by God? But for sure, humans are pretty alien-like judging by their weird nature compared to the rest of the species in the animal kingdom even though we have never seen aliens, “alien” is almost synonymous to simply describe something as “weird” or “unexplanatory”.

Doesn't hurt my view if things were seeded/tampered with by gods, aliens, or asteroids at any point in the timeline. Evidence points to a very long process on planet earth though, and that we can see.

It's possible that some things on Earth came from other planets if it's existed for way too long. I also find it interesting how we as children come to learn strange things in life to eventually become normal/natural to us as we get older, “it is what it is”… I still don't understand biology.
