Japan in World War Two is what happens when your god is afraid of public speaking.
But seriously though, I was looking into it, I can’t figure out if that’s true or not. Whether the Japanese thought the emperor was a god. There are a lot of people on the internet who are very confident that either the emperor was a god or obviously everyone knew the emperor wasn’t a god but they just went along with it as a fun patriotic thing so they could turn dying in war into some dramatic theatre kid drama love story for a man they never met, except it was the same man, and they’re all gay. Although, apparently some emperors said they weren’t god. So that’s a little weird. Worship a god who says they’re not a god? Imagine if Jesus said, "I’m not God I’m just a dude." Then some Israeli nationalist back in the day was like, "NO! FUCK THE ROMANS! JESUS IS MY GOD! I LOVE HOW HUMBLE HE IS!"

…should I apologize to Jesus for that joke? Maybe. Or maybe Jesus would think it’s funny.

Then like when I was looking into it, apparently whether the emperor actually had any political power is debated? Which is highly confusing because the US excuse for nuking Japan twice is sorta based around the idea they all wanted to die for the emperor. But if the emperor was a puppet the entire time and then they didn’t execute him because he didn’t actually have power, then did they really just fool all Japanese people that the emperor controlled everything when he didn’t the whole time? That seems difficult to imagine. That would be like if we won a war with Russia then when we captured Putin we found out he actually was not in control and he was actually innocent of everything and he was only afraid to speak against the government and he was actually a good guy. That’s, hard to believe.

Although, ngl, the British royal family is up to no good.

The REAL British crime against humanity was turning their royal family into tabloid celebrities. I’m black, my ancestors were enslaved, but that tabloid junk is the real crime against humanity here.

Imagine if a Korean said something like that about the Japanese royal family. "Yeah they colonized Korea and raped my ancestors and everything, but the real crime is that dress that Japanese princess wearing. What’a up with that, so ugly! No sense of fashion. That woman is more ugly than all Japanese war crimes combined."

At least napoleon earned it though. He made himself emperor. That’s dope. The slavery stuff was bad, but everybody loves a pull yourself up by the bootstraps story. Crown yourself emperor! Although, I’m supposed to be loyal to the pope and everything, but like…… I’d crown myself emperor.

Although ironically, the bombs dropped on Japan actually killed a shitload of Koreans but nobody ever talks about that part because it’s inconvenient and stuff. I’m gonna go out on a limb and say that vaporizing Koreans because the Japanese did crimes against Koreans is probably not the correct way to avenge the Koreans and was probably not justified. But that’s just me. If China came and nuked me to save the blacks from the white people, I would not be very appreciative of that gesture.

"The Japanese had never heard their emperors voice until his surrender." Yeah blah blah blah, that’s called being an introvert.

Honestly though, I do respect the Japanese royal family more than the British royal family. Which is saying very very little, but it’s also saying a lot, but very little at the same time.

If I’m being honest, the Saudi royal family is the only real monarchy left. They have real power. If the crown prince wants to samurai chop your head off, in Japan it’s not gonna happen, but in Saudi Arabia, it might. If you say something about him, he just might do it. He just might!

I’m not gonna say anything about the Saudi monarchy because they actually probably could kill me if they wanted to. They’ve done it before outside of their borders. They’re professional with it. They’ll assassinate any journalist anywhere.
