I was just thinking about how China says that Taiwan is a part of China because it’s more democratic that the will of 1.4 billion Chinese instead of 330 million Americans should decide the fate of Taiwan. As an Irish person who wasn’t born in Ireland, I’ve been thinking: there are 80 million of us on the planet and only 5 million of them. The Irish from the island of Ireland have been getting annoyed by people who have never been to Ireland in their life calling themselves Irish. But doesn’t the democratic will of the 80 million trump the 5 million? Maybe it’s more Irish if you’ve never been actually. We can be the opposite of the Jews. They have birthright Israel, our birthright is we never go to Ireland and say we know shit about the place and piss off people who are actually from there. That’s our fucking birthright!

And you know what? Americans should be proud to be English again. Piss them off too while you’re at it. Might as well.

Land grabs in current times is a bad look and makes you the bad guy. We should be heading toward a post imperialism society at this point.
