So im working to improvevmy digital hygiene. currently using iOS 18.2 and wanted to see if pegasus or any spyware like it is installed(or at least what can I look out for). I heard simply turning off could help in cutting off any potential connection. Anybody on here got tips or stuff I can do.

You must be aware banks hospitals, and the Fed end up exploited.

Keep in mind there is nothing wonderful about taking a shit. It's Life. Potholes in roads and the cost of living.
You're asking for perfection, and you cannot even get that if you're rich.

Last time I got involved with cryptocurrency I did a factory reset in hopes of shedding iOS cooties when North Korea and Russia were getting into everything. I don't know, internet AIDs I'd probably buy a new device if I didn't know my life is already out there and for sale.
But since Apple runs AI locally (for years now if you count the "for the children" bot) - I consider it only as safe as conducting business in a bank lobby at best.

I'm thinking of going multiple cell phones - one for work apps, one for banking and bills, a third for internet nonsense (not all activated, wi-fi is fine). The down side is it's too risky to buy used since the previous boner might have picked up something I can't get rid of.

I would think installing a custom OS would solve that problem.
Or are you an iFag?

Brand/OS agnostic. A car is a car and a phone is a phone. But you're right, maybe an old Pixel with Graphene or something might be the way to go.
