Topic: Luigi is probably going to do life in prison
+Anonymous A — 1 year ago #66,494
According to the latest Legal Eagle YouTube video. Punishment for murder in the United States is all over the place, when Linux filesystem developer Hans Reiser murdered his wife he hid the body and they were basically offering time served in prison in return for the location of her body. As it happened, he denied that opportunity then changed his mind and told the authorities where she was buried. But it was too late. He's in the slammer for a long time.
Luigi may never see the outside of the court/prison system. I can understand why he had that helicopter ride. I doubt he'll ever have another helicopter ride. I doubt he'll get the death penalty. They'll be retribution if that happens.

New York doesn’t have the death penalty. It’s on a state by state basis. It’s not that he probably won’t get the death penalty, he literally can’t get the death penalty.

That's true however the video on Luigi on legal eagle channel refers to the idea that Trump would do something. The video wasn't that specific, it was just kind of thrown in there.

In theory, the United States is a democracy where the president can’t arbitrarily decide the outcome of legal cases against what the law says.

Hypothetically, if a "president" did have the ability to arbitrarily execute citizens, maybe that president is something more than a president?
