Unless you're Six Flags, it seems like your primary focus is on dark rides and even though they have a place for families, innovation seems to have plateaued.
I remember the rides at Disney be elaborate in their automatics and their environments. Making you feel immersed in an entirely different world. Now with rides that have screens it feels like everything is just some sort of computerized mess. The focus on the previous two things mentioned seem to have taken a backseat.
Universal has a Mario Kart dark ride that utilizes the screen technology. They should've just made it a GoKart attraction, but size was likely limited. Instead, we opted for a dark ride that seems cool but is mostly CGI.
I never rode this ride or been to Universal, but I've seen clips online.
What the fuck happened to amusement park attractions?!
