Limited Edition is a sales gimmick. You should see the winos I see with the shakes standing in line for the Limited Edition at the convenience store. They can usually chug some of it and be puking behind the store before make it back to my car.

I'll admit, I used to be all over those Christmas beers when I was on a hipster kick. Not objectively 'better' - just more expensive with extra stuff sprinkled in to complicate the flavor. I still went for it though.
Traditionally, 'the flask' was the answer but with open container laws and whatnot - I probably wouldn't carry one around at this point.
