nah imo you have it wrong 1 you dont need drinks to have fun unless the venue is shit ig but like why would you go somewhere if you dont want to go? if the only reason you have fun doing this is because you're having fun with friends then why go? idk for me doesnt sound fun like what is there to do? a club is a place to hang out w people and for people to waste themselves like yea.

what's your goal? you wanna meet people, or have fun, or get better at clubbing or do you want to try and get drunk (or drink; im using context here) or just be seen as a social person? what you do depends on your goal

I always managed to avoid clubs unless I got dragged there, sometimes to play, but I never got left alone, though I would've preferred it to everyone wanting to buy drugs from me and drunk chicks I didn't know doing things to me. I don't have any drugs to sell, damnit!

I drink very little. I do go to clubs alone, if there is a band there I enjoy. I usually don't stay late as being the only sober one it makes it a chore to put up with drunks.

I have never been to a club in my life.*
*I'm using the American definition here which is where DJ So-and-so does lots of scratching and there's lots of repetitive drum beats meant for people to move their bodies to, but no actual live musicians. And also no real food is served, just alcohol.⁺
⁺Or maybe that's just how they're portrayed on TV, idk, like I said I've never been.

Live bands usually play at bars, not clubs. (You know, before they get a record deal and get big and start performing in concert venues.)

If you don't wanna go out alone, that's fine but don't have any regrets about not going out to night clubbing. I don't know your age but maybe in 10 years you will have stopped going to night clubs. I think the first time I went to a nightclub was when I was about 34 and I do think sometimes maybe I should have gone earlier.
