Yikes, $40-$60K is poverty wages in Texas. Can't run a family on that.
I'm more annoyed with the low pay on 'salary' to start with. Traditionally salary came with higher pay with the expectation of crunch time and working some weekends. It's not supposed to be a loophole for slave labor.
