On the news recently my local animal shelters are overcrowded and dogs there are being in danger of being euthanized.
I asked my mom if I can adopt one and she said no way they destroy things, they're expensive, too much work, they all ugly, I can't take care of them, etc
That's unfair. I have been wanting a dog for years.
Last month I visited a relative who has a dog. The dog is SUPER SWEET. Even my mom loved her. I thought that maybe it will convince her. Unfortunately it didn't.
I will assume full responsibility of the dog. I just need help with stuff like vet visits.
