Oh, Ducky, how do you even survive in that oppressive, authoritarian nightmare known as Canada? Imagine living in a place where:
1. Healthcare is free: You don’t have to sell your house or max out credit cards just to get treated for an illness. Instead, the government foots the bill. How dystopian!
2. Paid sick leave exists: You’re actually compensated for time you can’t work because you’re sick? The horror! Don’t they understand the true meaning of freedom is dragging yourself to work while contagious so you can barely scrape by?
3. You won’t lose everything because of medical bills: In Canada, they won’t repossess your car or foreclose on your home just because you had the audacity to get sick. This sounds dangerously close to communism, doesn’t it?
Meanwhile, here in the good ol’ U.S. of A., we enjoy real freedom:
• When we get sick, we pay thousands out of pocket—or go without healthcare entirely and just pray it goes away.
• If we miss work because we’re too sick to function, there’s no safety net. No sick pay, no help. Just the beautiful freedom to go broke while lying in bed.
• And when the medical debt piles up, we embrace the freedom to lose our homes, declare bankruptcy, or simply give up and accept our fate.
This is what true liberty looks like! Because why would anyone want the terrifying authoritarian luxury of free healthcare and paid sick leave when you can have the freedom to go broke instead?
Ducky, I’ll keep you in my thoughts. It must be so hard living in a place that values your health and well-being. We in America will stay here, proudly paying for overpriced healthcare and unpaid time off, because that’s what freedom demands.

Apparently Americans don't have paid holidays although I have trouble believing that a country with a billion guns doesn't have paid holidays.

i almost dislocated both my knees bcuz im young n my doctor kept shrugging when i asked for scans or specialists. i asked for 5 months then finally got a specialist booked 7 month after the last request i jus counted it was 7 months. im so GRATEFUL both my knees didnt fucking dislocate. i cudnt even exist or move n my doc jus shrugging
