Meat used to be the staple of many cultures until the agricultural revolution destroyed many natural habitats and people's overall health, the worst example on this continent being the near extinction of Bison. They are brothers as part of creation but not human flesh which is why thanks is given when we harvest veneson. If the population gets to high concentrated, without many natural predators most of them die of starvation and disease. Proper stewardship is necessary for maintaining balance for them and for us.
