I used to smoke an off-brand full flavor king size. These cigarettes might taste awful if I decided to have one--my tastebuds were ruined. But, they were rather accelerant heavy not to mention high nicotine; so, most mornings I'd suck one down in maybe 30 seconds to a minute and a half, and I'd get a good buzz. I also loved non filtered cigarettes, where the higher the price translated to the degree of quality. US camel non filter really kicked my ass as the first of the day, as oftentimes did Lucky Strike, Chesterfield non filter, Commanders, English Ovals. If you can get away with it, look into the Japanese Peace -brand non filter. They're a pure version virginia with nicotine content higher than just about anything US with the exception of perhaps American Spirit NF. You can get them on a site called jtexpress.tokyo

I like full-flavor strong ciggies too.
I've decided to roll my own cigs, not because it is cheaper, but because even cheapest RYO tobacco is better than most "average" cigarettes like red Marlboros or idk, Luckies. Not to mention that you can get flavored tobacco, which is impossible with normal cigarettes which only come in tobacco and menthol.
But I've noticed one thing, if I roll cigs (I use OCB paper with some random short filters because I dont really like tobacco in my mouth) sometimes they taste really awful. Initially, I blamed tobacco, but after getting tube stuffing machine and cigarette tubes it is no longer the case and tobaccos I've considered gross are actually fine. And I still don't understand why. Rolling paper is shit? Or gumstrip has awful taste?
My favorites so far are Golden Virginia, American Spirit (light blue, the only variety I could get, since it is not normally sold here and shit didn't even have local warning labels, so you know its tax-free illegal shit) and some Polish tobacco rebranded for local market.
