All immigrants should be kicked to the curb. Maybe keep a few around and make slaves of them.

It's a neat narrative for the natives and ultra progressives to cancel holidays (Columbus and Thanksgiving) and to get grant funding. But reality is most of us were born here. White guilt doesn't fly here! Unless England has a nice piece of property waiting for me because my great great grandparents were born there - shit, I'm looking at this wrong - I need to go claim my rightful land!

I'm an apolitical non-voter, but if someone was born here they are a citizen. White to black, where do you expect them to go? Demagoguery around 'immigrants' distracts from the reality of legitimate asylum seekers. Before the Cuban refugees became legal citizens they were welcomed, escaping Castro before they became "legal", as their children are. With the lockdowns, one of my neighbors lost his bar so after hurricane Maria some Puerto Rican refugees moved in. They live here now since they have nowhere else to go. Even though my neighborhood is full of Muscogee (Creek) and Tsalagi (Cherokee) there are Wyandotte, Deleware, Choctaw and many more. They speak English and live at peace with their neighbors. There are more dialects spoken here than any other state but not Mayan or Aztec. I don't know anyone with these last names you speak of since it wasn't a thing where clan affiliation is concerned, their Christian names are what people go by. Again, the past is what it was so whoever was born here, especially multi-generational descendants of immigrants, are citizens. I don't know where you expect them to go.

Face facts. Your family immigrated to the US. Only native Americans have the right to US land.

My family's history traces back to the 1700's in central Florida. Many of us still live there today including me.

Of course you're the result of being an immigrant. You're not Native American.
You and your family needs to be deported to country of origin.

You can't undo the past. My great-grandfather died of scarlet fever in his 20s back in the 1910's. My grandfather ran away at age 10 when my great-grandmother was sold. When her owner died she sent for him and he worked at a cotton gin to support them until he enlisted to serve in WWI. He was mixed, like my grandmother, and they were sharecroppers, my mother among those who 'pulled' cotton (you don't pick it). Should I be deported for being mixed?

Trump has said he plans to end BIRTHRIGHT citizenship.

There's nothing I can do about that but it won't bode well for him in the mid-terms. I'm just worried that incendiary rhetoric like yours is going to get more innocent native peoples hurt. The better option is simply to better secure the border and properly process legitimate asylum seekers while taking into account the rate of recidivism among criminal elements and those linked to cartels. The border is a problem, how they handle it will either work for or against them in the mid-terms. Please calm down. Maybe this will help.

Why you just come down here and tell us all we need to be deported. You'd end up with you balls cut off. lol

Of course not. Your family background is slavery and it's odd that you want to mess with live humans, that are here because origins were so horrid.

I don't see how you extrapolate that from everything I've said in this thread. I don't want to harm anyone, especially legitimate asylum seekers. As an aside, in my mom's family, when they first saw black sharecroppers working another field they didn't understand why the blacks were afraid to talk to them. She said my grandfather told them they were from another continent and to not speak ill of them. They didn't have radio and they enjoyed listening to them sing but never got to talk to them.
But the family background ended up being military since seven of their sons enlisted, from WWII to the Korean war, each gaining rank along the way. They were never able assimilate into regular society so they stayed in.

I could be wrong but I think most Americans are so grossly uninformed and impatient that they're the type to throw out the baby along with the bath water because critical thinking; which mind you is a requirement to discern the difference between a undocumented immigrant who indeed contributes negatively via crime and an undocumented immigrant who seeks asylum to escape their crime riddled homeland. Maybe if their homeland wasn't a fucked up place shithole littered with corrupted and greedy politicans then perhaps most immigrants of central and south american countries wouldn't even bothered to come to the united states. But the US at its core operates in a "its your problem unless you got something we need of value and it gives us a several advantages."

·Anonymous F1 year ago, 28 minutes later, 20 hours after the original post[T] [B] #659,089

also I doubt congress will let trump do as he pleases to this extent of deporting immigrants and ending/revoking birthright citizenships. The cost for mass deportation has to be astronomical. Idk it just seems like there's gross oversight in the consequences for pulling this off.

> revoking birthright citizenships.
Against the us constitution.
"Setting aside the legal and political feasibility—and indeed most legal experts are clear that repeal would require a constitutional amendment"

well this is annoying. cant even respond due blocked words. despite the conversation being a legitimate normal discourse.
