I seriously wanna ask those were laid off from various companies including dropbox to see whether they really have been getting actual help with other jobs or if the whole "its not what you know but who you know" spiel is simply a heap bullshit.

I'm pretty disgusted with tech jobs in general from the last 3 years. Corporations were hemorrhaging positions until the AI bubble started. Then they made billions of dollars. Now we're trimming positions again and bickering over return to office mandates. I'm having a hard time justifying using new gear, subscriptions or software and rewarding these jerks (not that one tin foil hatter is a major source of revenue lost).

The real reason why there is a huge tech layoff is because school is teach outdated & useless tech knowledge & once the student graduated & went to workforce, they can't contribute anything for the project assigned to them!
