Topic: Why do Asian parents hate waiting in line????
+Anonymous A — 1.1 year ago #65,640
My uncle went to get Starbucks and my mom and aunt told him to forget it because the line was too long. There was UNDER 10 people in line.
I wanted to enjoy Bacchanal Buffet but my relatives weren’t willing to wait in line for it. There was about 120+ people ahead of us. We went at around 7:30 PM and buffet closes at 10 PM.

That's like a 35 minute wait. Gonna side with your aunt on that one.

Everybody hates waiting in line. But for some people the thing at the other end is worth waiting for.

That’s for me!!!! I don’t mind waiting as long as I get the good stuff. But when it’s uncertain if i will get it or not, it’s torture.

They tolerate waiting 35+ on attractions but not the buffet.

Have you ever been to mainland China? NO ONE lines up for anything. They just for a big crowd and you sort of push your way to the front.

Yes, I am talking about China. Anyway, will you marry me so I don't have to marry my youngest sister like my Asian mom wants?

So in US, the food stall didn't issue you an wireless queue buzzer/token while you are waiting for your food? 😲

I'd rather they just yell a number, restaurants aren't that big and to-go orders are right by the door anyway...

My Asian family are obsessed with perfection, following itineraries to perfection, and time management while on trips and vacations
