My mom says that I need to care about corporate greed in my hometown and not what Vegas is doing. I love Vegas and I HATE what Hard Rock did to the Mirage and what Bally’s did to the Tropicana.

That was a weird adjustment for me when I realized structures aren't built for longevity. I've seen malls go from hopping to dead, small shops like auto parts stores fold 2 or 3 times over - leaving a dirty shell nobody wants to rent or buy.
Grocery stores have changed too (for the worse - now mega corporations).
Humans like the new shiny, it's how we are.

I have to say, Vegas is a weird town. I hardly played the slots (nerded out and played the Wonder Woman game though). I did like some of the food, I wouldn't buy $9 cinnamon rolls normally but it made for good breakfast down there.
The entertainment acts didn't look appealing - mostly dance troop stuff and a few pop music singers (ugh).
We did bump into a few hustlers along the way, the worst was some clown trying to shove us into a limo (wasn't drunk enough to fall for that one).
Overall 4/10, not really my jam.
