Democrats will say this with zero self-awareness, absolutely no comprehension of the inconsistency.

Non sequitur. Nobody thinks the way you frame your narrative, it's a lazy reactionary response to something never asked. In the moral sense that Christianity views it as a sin, then, as with all sin, repentance is dependent on the sinner's response to God. Your demagoguery isn't concerned with the salvation of souls but condemnation for its own sake. If the consensus decides the case is a matter of freedom, then freedom of conscience applies to all. Reminder: true freedom requires accepting responsibility; license is abdication of responsibility. Your cult leader cannot win.
Have a nice day.

I'm an atheist, and it's unsettling that you think only christians can be against murder.

A minority opinion, but yes, one could say the throwaway culture that's extending to human life right now is a negative for society. There's a few of us out there.

I don't think that at all, but most would assume it since the most vocal "prolife"℠® activists are.
I don't have any problem with you, but the cottage industry of purported 'christian' demagogues and charlatans who rake in millions and create ideologues like them who don't really care about life. Their little faith in God is evident by the way they make their influencers millionaires, by their devotion to them. For the Christian, politics isn't necessary for Salvation, but participation in the Kingdom of God is.

For the record, this is the official stance of the state of California and other jurisdictions.
When a government holds this position it shows the legislature has no sense of consistency and lacks the self-awareness to realize they've define life to be whatever is convenient. A respectable ethical code would acknowledge that life is either worthy of protection or not. Saying it was always "just cells" when the mother did it, and always a real actual life if someone else did it, makes no sense.
Besides some official laws, talk to any pro-choice person and ask them if they see any contradiction and almost none of them really understand the problem. They'll act like you said inducing a miscarriage should go unpunished (it obviously shouldn't) and cannot comprehend the contradiction on their own without being walked through it.

CA is hopeless. And for the record I don't support abortion but I know I can't do anything to stop it. I heard horror stories from a time when the expectant mother was poisoned and lost the child, but sharecroppers in the boonies rarely faced immediate consequences any more than the folks who used to hide their dead in the woods for the boars and coyotes to dismantle. These days, having a DNC when the child is already dead and the mother is going septic shouldn't fall under the category of 'abortion' since the pregnancy is already terminated.

I'm too old for such nonsense.
