European countries allow it, latin america allows it, china allows it.
Few countries are as strict as the US.

Remember the inventor of the Muslim Religion - Muhammad, married a 9 year old girl and added her to his Harem.

What's the minimum legal age for marriage in any USA state?

Like there's this huge flood of highschool kids in line to marry or bang old dude asses or something. America just states the obvious: quit trying to rob cradles because having no game (can't get real women) or being a pervert (like big Mo) doesn't fly here.

If you need to get the parents to sign off, AND a judge to sign off to get around the rule then it's a solid rule.
Few people actually get married under 18, and you can't have more than one partner under 18 like the rest of the world allows because you can only be married to one person.

If it didn't happen, these laws would never be enforced, but obviously they are every day. Clearly the law matters.
What's stopping europe, south america, and china from doing the same? Only cultural differences, they think it's OK, Americans don't.

Black countries usually make you wait until you're an adult.

Officially they do. Enforcement is another matter.
Most countries can't be bothered to pass a law.
