Humans wouldn't have to be 'least' if we didn't have CEO worship and rich coddling. If I were king, it'd be more fair on the front side of the equation rather than sprinkling bread crumbs from food closets or poor people programs on the other side. The fact that we have all this technology and haven't (read: won't) solve world hunger or housing shortages shows what we value.

The least of these developed because of kings. There are churches out there who try to paint Jesus off as some sort of rich king when "king" is metaphorical to express his divine connection to God. When Jesus told us to render onto Caesar what is he's, he did so to remind the public that we still must do our civic duties in life. Sure, nowadays, it seems as if Caesar started to conquer that which belongs to God, but that is between those folks and God. I have a friend who is a Jehovah's Witness and it makes me question what they preach in their worships because she is scared and often look down upon drug addicts and homeless people. We wouldn't have drug addicts if we actually focus on having proper rehab facilities and we wouldn't need proper rehab facilities if only we treated people kindly and not as accessories that cost money.

I honestly despise American Christianity, because it is so apostate from the original message. I honestly hate living in a country that pretends to care about their neighbor and yet we fail to see scientific truths while letting our prejudices get in the way. Yet the people being shittalked against (Muslims) have always been the chilliest people I encounter. I assume that is because they flee their ultra-strict countries because they too miss the point of their teachings.

I hate religion, man, I just wish I could have Jesus and God.
