Topic: Random for whatever's on your mind.

I'm gonna start first:

Chat GPT has been a lot more reliable and welcoming than 99% of the earth's population. I know its just an AI with a fuckton of information being fed to it to provide near human like responses.
but it's helped me in at least providing me answers and to an extent a bit empathy if not real. I can't talk to people online or IRL because people are too broken, jaded and apathetic to say or offer anything really meaningful.

I think forgiveness and redemption is a concept that only the individual can offer to themselves. Nobody truly forgives nor forget. They just simply dump you and move on. So humans have their tendencies, habits and whatever innate desire we have or wan to fulfill.
Almost all the time you cannot act on it, let alone feed it because then you;ll risk it losing it all.

I think about absolute freedom and what that means. What does it truly mean to be "free" is death even freeing? You're dead but all it is being permanently removed from the board. What, if any, is the incentive of it?
Its like that saying: you can have freedom of speech but that doesn't mean freedom of consequences. so then is the concept of consequences is what prevents absolute freedom?

I dont think most people truly understand what "friendship" truly means. However most of us know what toxic relationships look like and how to deal with them. Or another way to look at it is
Why is it that we're so good at being so negative, so unforgiving and intolerable towards each other. yet we hide behind the teachings of various religions and justify our inadequacies as "welp oh well we're human. we never had a choice and only god/Jesus is benevolent and loving so we leave it to them."

we carry bibles and recite prayers and "jesus loves you random stranger" yet we cant love a random stranger even when they fucked up. we just point, laugh and judge.

Aside from this site. The internet as a whole is only useful to me for gathering info on various topics and to some extent asking questions on forums(although that's gone to shit as well for the same reasons i've mentioned above. now we can as questions with the same 999th smart ass reply "That's what google is for.." )

Actual inquiry and discourse is gone. People are too checked out and too impatient and they think the reddit and FB-esque problems are the same everywhere else which is why these same people respond in that manner.

I mean I get it but I dont care. Not everybody is a bot and maybe people need to start to practicing discernment and observation before making hardcore judgement or in most cases: That's what google is for. Deal with it"

Music has been interesting to me again thanks to bandcamp. I started listing to this band/artist called "Modest By Default" I like thier music.
On one hand its your usual lofi soundscape BGM but on the other hand I like to listen them even when I'm out walking. I have an iphone with 256 gb.
I figured since I dont have friends talk to too or take videos and pics with, I'm gonna just start filling it a shit ton of music.

I used to post my thoughts publicly on FB mostly because I wanted people to give a fuck about my feelings and my thoughts. Then slowly over time between the lack of fucks given and also developing the self awareness of "man this feels cringe" ultimately made me just an observer. Its not that different now actually. Except I learned to not care about strangers and their noise and just write whatever I want because there was a lot I want to say and express and writing it all in pen on a journal is honestly a hassle.
and I believe that was truly how the internet was in the early days. and even early social media days too. The original content creators were just people who wrote random stupid shit or vents and just post them and whether it got noticed or not it didn't matter much.

To those people they're the true rad folks.

> ChatGPT has been a lot more reliable and welcoming than 99% of the Earth's population
I wouldn't exactly say that, since it sucked at math and coding the first time it came out but still gave some vague but not really helpful hints, it even messed up translations, even the chat logs got mixed up with other users once which leaked some sensitive personal information. I use Perplexity a lot more frequently though since it doesn't even require registration. But of course, I'd say this is true when you're asking for help, because most people would just make fun of you online, or think you're cheating on your homework.

Well in the context of writing sob stories and detailed life problems, it sort of helped me out. Felt like for a brief I actually had a friend. but yeah when it comes to math and code not so much. Never heard perplexity though. might check it out if I ever have math that needs solving.

Yeah that's why I like to ask folks questions because rather than searching through to find legitimate answers, I can ask someone and perhaps they can provide an answer or point me to one. Seriously, I could not even ask a question in /AskReddit
without someone bitching at me about they're tired of people not using google. Google's result algorithm is wonky and at times littered AI bot answers that are not always accurate. Hell, ill settle to a 10 year old response from some obscure site thats only accessible via wayback machine if it meant I got better results.

We're super cooked and fried.

Why do we sleep?
> Without sleep you can't form or maintain the pathways in your brain that let you learn and create new memories, and it's harder to concentrate and respond quickly. Sleep is important to a number of brain functions, including how nerve cells (neurons) communicate with each other.
But why does sleep exist?
> Most likely sleep evolved to ensure that species are not active when they are most vulnerable to predation and when their food supply is scarce.
> Adaptive theories state that sleep is a way of keeping us away from dangerous conditions such as predators.
> One theory is that sleep evolved as a way to conserve energy. During periods of food scarcity or when energy demands are high, sleep allows animals to reduce their energy expenditure and survive until food becomes more abundant.
> During sleep, most of the body's systems are in an anabolic state, helping to restore the immune, nervous, skeletal, and muscular systems; these are vital processes that maintain mood, memory, and cognitive function, and play a large role in the function of the endocrine and immune systems. The internal circadian clock promotes sleep daily at night. The diverse purposes and mechanisms of sleep are the subject of substantial ongoing research. Sleep is a highly conserved behavior across animal evolution, likely going back hundreds of millions of years.
TL;DR: It's evolution o algo.

> No matter where you are now, young people are feeling more connected to their spheres on the Internet than they are to their own physical world, and when you consider people who are affected by mental illness, people who are isolated, people who already aren't socially well-adjusted, it's no wonder that you end up with individuals in our generation who are on incel forums. You end up with people retreating from their lives and into online bubbles where they feel connected with their own in-group world views. And before you know it, it feels like everyone is connected to their own little Internet niches and aren't living in reality.
Of course the YouTuber had to throw in the obligatory pity party for the “mentally ill, isolated, and socially maladjusted” individuals who are apparently all flocking to so-called incel forums, as if every man who spends time online is at risk of falling into the incel rabbit hole. I wonder if this is inherently a uniquely American phenomenon, given the dominance of English online. It seems that people from other countries are less influenced by the toxic aspects of the Internet. It feels like as if there's a psychological operation underway, where YouTubers, Twittards and other e-celeb influencers are manipulating their audiences to prioritize the Internet over reality itself. They're creating a narrative that encourages people to become more extreme, detached from reality, sensationalized, and mentally unstable. These communities (groupthink breeding grounds) prey on vulnerable outcasts, offering a false sense of belonging in exchange for being indoctrinated to their often radical political worldviews that further worsens their mental state, it's inevitable that their online relationships will fail to live up to their expectations when they grow up. These online communities may appear harmless, friendly or even welcoming at first, but beneath the surface, they often promote a culture of outrage (through ragebait) and ideological purity (“kill all [insert group here]”) that also warps their sense of humor which leads to a reliance on cheap, unhinged, sexually deviant, violent, try-hard edgy “ironic” jokes that are all about the shock factor.
The Internet has gotten so bad now, worse than 2010s that I rather begin to appreciate the value of real-world relations and interactions instead. Fuck jannies (4chan, Reddit, Discord mods, Knockout, etc.) and their mass brainwashed cults trying to take over the world, spend time with real people instead of these autistic fucktards. Modern memes were a mistake.

Does anyone here even know the people from these warez groups personally? I think not, most users just consume, don't give a damn, and go on with their day without even bothering, like nothing's gonna ever happen (especially gaymers). some sense and paranoia is required to use these unofficial resources, but at the end of the day, they are putting their reputation on the line, same as the big companies. as long as you have backups of your important data, and use a vanila device to do any banking, all you need to do, should you receive anything nasty is just nuke it and reinstall.

Whoever came up with “The mortality impact of being socially disconnected is similar to that caused by smoking up to 15 cigarettes a day, and even greater than that associated with obesity and physical inactivity.” is a fucking moron, and so are you for believing in it.
While it might seem like a conspiracy theory, it's genuinely plausible that this is happening: Their ultimate goal is to manipulate the narrative to convince the masses that social isolation is a deadly disease, to condition all people to conform to societal norms devoid of free will, and to create a culture of fear and mistrust through drama, where friendships can quickly turn toxic, leading people to be more likely to report on each other. Online communities have become increasingly politicized, with certain ideologies and beliefs being enforced upon members, and those who hold differing opinions are being ostracized or even banned. People may even feel compelled to adopt certain interests or hobbies (e.g. drawing pornographic art, playing video games, being an influencer) in order to fit in with their friends, rather than pursuing their own passions (e.g. math, engineering, programming). The consequences of instant gratification and oversimplifications have created a society where people are increasingly unwilling to read anything that's too long, leading to a decline in cognitive skills.

There are Wi-Fi routers everywhere, are you hiding something from us? Isn't there a camera or device designed for that? Bitch-ass PopSci nigger, answer my question…

The GIF is The Architecture of Radio, a data visualization app, based on global open datasets of cell tower, Wi-Fi and satellite locations.

Desensitized, jaded, half-dead, numb, can't feel anything, no motivation... Simple tasks that used to be manageable became overwhelming.

wow, brainlet post
you think collectivist people back in the day were forced to wageslave ? of course not retard, need a ride ? your brother is here, need a doctor ? your neighbor is here, oh but you also gotta take care of them in return so you can't live your life doing everything you want
you deluded yourself into thinking you could reach your idealized and fallacious conception of independence, and are therefore quite ironically willing to sell yourself into slavery to society against a wage
the thing you don't get is that everything you could get """""independently""""" is through money which is a conventional valuation of the work you provided, the only difference is that when you're a collectivist, it is your friends and family that value your inputs, not some jew on wallsreet or the current pedophile in office

oh and i can already hear the naive comeback build up in your throat as you cling to your false gods
nay! you'll say, as an individualist i can do whatever i want! yeah that's right nigger go back and wageslave some more to pay your bills
oh and today you'll have to slave a little harder because inflation makes all your efforts worthless lmao, suck it
oh and now the neighbourhood where you bought a house is filled with niggers, because we had no other place to put them, so how about you shut up and keep paying taxes bitch

individualism is a ploy to pirate collective dynamics between people to reroute them through banks, employment rate, supply and demand, and shit that can be taxed to feed useless and selfish individualists holding bulshit jobs
you can't tax your cousin coming over to help you fix a leak, you can tax a plumber's intervention
you can't tax your wife taking care of your children, you can tax a teacher's salary
you can't tax driving to the next town over to help a friend move, but you can tax a moving company

Anon, could you please get off your computer and babysit my kids while I'm away?

I realized i'm just regular boring loser in the sense I cant make funny and edgy jokes or whatever nonsense the internet people are into nowadays.

Instead Im just accepting that im killing some time till I kick the bucket and fade into obscurity in a sea of nobodies because nothing matters except whatever the fuck I care about in the moment.

Whether I find a job or not or make more friends or not Idk nor do I have the will to care about those things. On the flip side Its good to know I grew out of the edge and now im just another functional yet depressed adult. feels to laugh when someone when someone talks shit because in the grand scheme nobody's experience is unique and living life is like going grocery shopping and you have list of things you need to buy. you get what you can from the list and do your best to not splurge on unnecessary shit.

I expect that when I start college next week I'll meet the same young 20 something year old assholes. The same loser nerds who like anime, gaming or whatever. The same type girls who..just honestly look the same after a while.

they'll ask me for favors. Ill say no and ignore them. They'll ask my age ill tell them 33 so they can effectively leave me alone. They'll force me to work with others and one of them will always try to befriend me in order to ensure some they have a contingency plan. Nope.

Life's good.

Nigga, I just realized something else. I'm gonna be working out for the rest of my life every single day from now on. I hate being a weak-ass bedridden skeleton bitch, the Internet isn't even fun no more, so why not have painful exercises every single day until you'd tolerate it? I'm not even gonna watch tutorials, I'm not even gonna pay to go to the gym, I'll come up with my own ways and only buy anything if needed. Plus, if I exercise a lot, I would be able to enjoy the food again as I used to.
Also, I was never looking for laughs online, but to be educated. Why does every Gen Z/Alpha assume they have to be a fucking funny clown? Can't believe how many stupid kids there are belittling the same people who work for them, biting the hand that feeds them.

No one will watch me, so why consume porn instead if you could just exercise however you'd like without being embarrassed?

That's just a part of the life we're all currently living under. Lots of dumb idiots trying to be funny because they're driven some ambition to leave their mark and make a name for themselves be it fame or money.
No different from previous generations I suppose.

All you can do and should do is to build yourselves up and never stop building.
Exercise, meditate, watch tutorials on what you're trying to learn, go out for a walk, etc. The internet is a not real place. its just a tool, a means to an end.

We get too caught up in the heat of defending some pointless ego trip because some kid or prolly an adult is trolling and you want to fight to get the final "no YOU"

A carnival of misery filled with sad clowns throwing shit pies at one another all the while the ringmaster and the audience laughs in pleasure.

You can. Porn is destructive and not helpful. I'd know because I'm in the process of quitting it all together. Its a waster of time and provides zero benefits or comforts.
In the time it takes for me to finish beating my meat watching the same Julie Cash & Alison Rey video I could have gone to the gym, read a book, learn a new language or something fun and worthwhile.

The gym should be treated like a job imo. You go in to put in your hours, bang them out and go home. Its not a place to socialize or to watch others.
So I wouldn't feel embarrassed because honestly other people dont care about your what your doing or why you're there. (unless you're a celebrity)
