Topic: Why can't I delete Microsoft 365 (Office) and Outlook from my phone?
+Anonymous A — 2.1 years ago #65,093
These apps take up 720 MB of space on my phone, and their size slightly increases over time despite the fact I've never opened them once. So many useless preinstalled apps made mandatory that can't even be completely uninstalled.

Have you tried jailbreaking it?

I don't wanna root my phone just for this simple thing, otherwise I can't use bank apps.

The yearly upgrade scam with phones isn't totally unfounded - new units come with lots of storage. Time for a trip to the wireless shop?
But I get it though, I was the same way when these people would slap facebook or candycrush on my shit: if I wanted it I would have downloaded it.

I did! I was one of like 4 people that actually liked the Windows 8.1 mobile (not so much the Windows 10 mobile I upgraded it to later). The Windows Mobile from the PocketPC days was my favorite.

Those were good times. My dad got one out of the recycle bins at work and brought it home, and that was how I discovered Jawbreaker.

Sounds like it's possibly remotely managed under a bussiness profile? Is this phone robbed?Try to uninstall it from the app store.

Undoing the root would probably result in the stuff being restored.
