I listen to a little bit of everything but especially classic hip-hop/rock/rap. I listen to maybe the same 200 songs from those genres ranging from the 70's-modern music which isn't a lot.

I no longer have any in particular, but whenever I'm in the shower, I often find myself humming to a tune that's stuck in my head to make it harder to forget. I feel more compelled to write it down as soon as possible, it's so distracting that I can't focus on what I'm currently doing as I wash myself, I end up repeating the music mentally for hours, accidentally causing subtle changes along the way since I crave for details that defy my expectations to introduce me to new interesting sounds. By the time I finally get around to writing it down (or recording it by voice), the song has already evolved into something completely different from its original form where its spirit has diminished where it doesn't sound as pleasingly fresh as it once started but rather something mundane I've probably heard of before many times. The brain is like a flesh prison, you're subjected to these experiences involuntarily, fleeting ephemeral dreams longing for moments of escapism.
