Similar feeling, I've been putting music, TV and movies on (and I'm not a TV person) after the sun goes down. Internet isn't doing it for me with all the bots and AI now.

Background noise - Nascar races and the like. Definitely mute or fast forward commercials but sponsors have their claws all the way through, I will give you that. One section the announcer said he was going to do a side by side so the viewers wouldn't 'miss any of the action' and played a picture-in-picture with an ad.
