Topic: having children.

theres an unsaid obligation thats been imposed on people to piss their life away by having kids. when people have kids we dont question them further because we as the collective society of randos are satisfied that they made the pro life sacrifice of their autonomy and feed
more bodies to machine and thus your life is forfeit but god forbid if you're single, getting old and enjoying your own company.

People must make kids, otherwise there wouldn't exist super unique and original turbo-autists with niche obscure rare interests, skills and exceptional talents we have today who may run the world for next generations.
AIs will never surpass the levels of the autism race.

The people that don't want kids, and the cultures that enable those people, don't survive and propagate. Parents that would sacrifice anything for a big family, and cultures that enable them, survive and spread quickly.

If you understand natural selection, this should not be surprising at all.

cultures that encourage large families may have certain advantages in terms of sheer numbers, they may also face challenges such as resource scarcity, environmental impact, and social dynamics within families.
On the other hand, cultures that value individual autonomy, personal fulfillment, and smaller family units may thrive in different ways, such as through innovation, resource efficiency, and social cohesion.

I understand natural selection. However my problem is that if you are one those people who have a family member who clearly is content with being childless and you're asking stupid questions like "when are you gonna give me grandkids/niece/nephew..etc" then you're a scumbag and piece of garbage. How you view your world or culture isn't apart of mines. I prefer to innovate and be efficient with our already limited resources on this planet than to produce more humans because god & government said its for the greater good. Those people can survive without having kids. The world's not gonna end just because some of us dont wanna be parents.

People want to have kids because they believed when they are old, the kids will be their slave to take care of them! That is how investment works as well!

Living a life is about 3-100 times easier when you aren't a parent. I developed a disability when I was 29. Imagine if I had children. They would suffer from the disability as well as I did.

Maybe your dad just likes to play with dolls. Buy him one for his birthday or Muslim Christmas and see what happens.

In other words, "I've fucked up my life, you have to do it as well, so I don't feel like an idiot".
