Topic: My birthday coincides with a major Chinese holiday, Qingming. I'm Chinese American.

My birthday's coming up soon and all my relatives will be very busy with Qingming stuff and gatherings. Due to traditional Chinese culture it's badluck to partake in the rituals if it's your birthday, so I have to be at home all alone.

This year is no different.

What can I do to make my birthday better? I can't get takeout or go out to dinner.
