Topic: Emporer of Japan collecting dogshit

The former emperor of Japan, Akihito, was known for doing academia as a hobby. Most of his papers are boring studies about fish, but one of them, "Long-term Trends in Food Habits of the Raccoon Dog, Nyctereutes viverrinus, in the Imperial Palace, Tokyo" (2016) is especially interesting. He wanted to measure the eating habits of the Tanuki or Racoon Dogs (not exactly a dog but still a canine) who lived on the grounds of his palace. As you can imagine, there is only one good way to do this without constantly tracking the animals.
If you were a racoon dog, and the Son of Amaterasu himself wanted to look at your shit under a microscope, would you feel blessed?
