In a perfect world, you would want to feel a sense of purpose in every moment of your life, but it's impossible for your actions to have any weight in a world which is already garunteed to be perfect. A good world whose goodness you only leech off without contributing to sounds depressing. So, is utopia:
a) a perfect place without stakes, where we are still deluded into thinking there are stakes to produce a feeling of fulfillment, like in a video game?
b) a place where we live completely passively and have everything important given and decided for us?
c) an imperfect world, but one which we have the power to dominate and tranform?
d) a transient perfect world, whose goodness depends directly on none of us choosing to fuck it up?
Would be interested to hear your thoughts.

If I had to choose. Id choose c
But if it were my way. I choose neither as the world I live in now is perfect as it is. We all have our own individual version of whats "perfect" for us. Therefore we do our best to strive for it in our ways. "Goodness" is just a human made construct in order to give a sense of a blueprint or a build. But the great thing about our world is once you see that you can decide what matters and what doesn't then you'll want exactly want and need and nothing more nor less. If someone judges you based on your action then thats what their freedom and time they choose to spend. Meanwhile you have a choice of whether or not you that judgment affect you in anyway. The only thing I would want to remove from this world forever is mental illness. At the very least I wish I had the power to grant everyone an unbreakable mental fortitude and do away our self destructive, self negative talk. If I can do away our need to have coping mechanisms then we wouldnt need to seek solace in hypothetical utopia scenarios. We just live together non judgement and freed. We would all make love and if we fight we resolve and understand each other laugh the next day. But for now this world will do because it has the potential.
