The equivalence of being an angry drunk Vols fan.

Welp, that's the game. Looks like Tennessee loses again. What a bunch of orange hillbilly wussies.

Nobody cares. Bert hasn't been here in a long time. Look him up on google and you will probably find his obituary.

Is that a fact? Well, it's still worth posting.

Unlikely, given that nobody cares about him. He would've been just another homeless John Doe.

He is Alive and still lives with his Mom in her basement.
Bert by the way is Banned from attending Vols games.

You can't be banned from something you can't afford to attend in the first place. Not sure where you got that from.

Word of advice that you should already know.
Never trust an alcoholic. ·Anonymous D — 2.1 years ago, 18 minutes later, 2 days after the original post[T] [B] #646,578

True. However in general bert is honest. A good example was the years of his posts while homeless.
You can imagine with how often the Vols lose and drunk bert at one of those games... LoL.
One fact that is still hard to understand. bert was not invited to his dads funeral.

Since when did people start sending out invitations to funerals? Sorry never heard of that.

You made a good point. Bottom line is He did not attended the event. Of more importance is that the Obit lists lots of relatives including 1st and 2nd cousins.
Bert is NOT even mentioned as a relative. ·Anonymous A (OP) — 2.1 years ago, 43 minutes later, 3 days after the original post[T] [B] #646,593

Where can one view his dad's obit?

Unfortunately, that would give away the family's last name. Reminds me of the time I made a topic about a Musical Instrument for sale and a
Mod Hit me with a nasty PM.

Maybe he isn't a relative of that family? Your research might be faulty. Or maybe nobody knows who he is around here.

So it's just a Co~wink~e~dink he lives in the same house as the Wife of the dead dad and they even share the same landline.

AND AND AND Indeed you're correct. He was at the Funeral and they printed a first name he apparently did not use because it was Exactly the same as his dad. Both used Jr. Not clarified in Dads Obit. NOW the sad news is - His mother died Oct 5 2023. And her Obit clears up the name change.
He can now live off of some of moms social security (I think)

Surely a proud Trumper like him would never accept help from the government (particularly since Biden is president)?

Unless Tennessee law is different, I don't think he can. When my dad died in 99 in Florida, my older brother had to pay back SS that he spent after dad was gone. He had same name.

I looked it up. Only children can collect Social Security. Ends at age 18.

Well since he's unable to live off her SS, wonder what his living situation is now.
I actually feel sorry for the guy. He's lost his dad, he's been on the streets, he moves in with his mom, she passes away. Seems like Bert just can't catch a break.

He can't keep a job is his problem. He needs to catch a break in the help wanted ads.

Damn. Must have been some hard times for her to do that.
@previous (B)
> He can't keep a job is his problem. He needs to catch a break in the help wanted ads.
I have to agree with you on him not being able to keep a job. His biggest issue is the alcohol consumption. I believe he has the ability to work, but until he gets his head on straight and controls the alcohol, I'm afraid the hard times will continue. I would hate to hear that he has joined his parents in the afterlife.
