Life cums with plus's and minuses. So, the plus side is you will continue to put $$ into Qualcomms wallet by buying a product that uses Snapdragon X70 5G. AND you will get to access Satellites in the Globalstar Constellation which will soon include new Satellites just for Apple users in the Globalstar Constellation. Oh and say Congrats to the new CEO of Globalstar, Paul Jacobs the son of Qualcomm's founder.

https://www.macrumors.com/2023/01/09/apple-in-house-modem-chips-2024/
"Apple initially wanted to introduce its own modem chips as early as 2023, but Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said in late 2022 that Apple would need to continue to rely on Qualcomm in the near future as Apple's development efforts "failed." At the time, Kuo said that Apple would continue working on its 5G chips, but that development would not be done in time for the launch of the 2023 iPhones, which Bloomberg's report agrees with. Modem chip development has seen delays, and Apple will use a slow rollout to end its reliance on Qualcomm. Apple will start with using its own modem chip in a single device before expanding the rollout to other devices. The transition away from Qualcomm could take up to three years."

A weeee bit of history. Apple used Intel Chips until the Chip ran down the battery very quickly and failed to deliver the 4G speed contracted for. Intel said fuck it when 5G was on the Horizon. Intel quit the Mobile phone market and Apple had no other choice than to go to Qualcomm. IF China does invade Taiwan, then all bets are off because the only company with the technology to make the chips in hardware form is in Taiwan.

The IRS would disagree with that statement. You will be happy with your new Iphone. It will connect with the Globalstar Satellites. Globalstar was founded by Qualcomm. (Spun the sucker off)

What you need is a decent job so the loss of a silly $1400+ is just the loss of chump change.

The odds are very high you will be the first to die.
Bottom line of course is to have the cash NOW and what is left after death is of no value to one who is alive with LIFE Insurance for those that follow.

Anyone can make CPU's and there are many alternatives that work more than OK - Only one company for decades gets the KEY Elements correct - Modem and RF Front End. Bottom line in communications IS Input and Output - RF in and RF out - Everyone has tried to do it yet only one company gets it right.
For Input it does cum down to SNR - Given the many Bands Cell phones now use from 800 MHz to wayyy over 6 GHz and RF where the Sidebands can be a bitch that requires so much Extra Junk to keep in limits. Add the multi technologies like AT&T is very different than Verizon and same goes for Euro variations.

More important to me of course is how my Stock and lots of it was below $5 when I got it and today it's over $115. So that Signal to Noise Ratio
