Did you forget he paid $4000 for a plane ticket to see her?
or maybe it was $1400, idk exactly, I just remember there was a 4 in it somewhere and $400 seems way too low even for 10 years ago

Based on email with him he got his $$$ Worth. Not home base yet as you know there is a world of around the world and IF I remember correctly he came away happy. I don't remember if either said what went wrong.
Not bragging but I made much less expensive air trips to connect UP with someone I met while on ski trips. ONE GREAT Memory was us going to bed that first night and I was NOT about to make any moves cause that is how I am wired. She woke me up at about 3AM and asked me to make love to her.
Invite was to go see an Opera with her. Opera is not my thing but I did enjoy that evening - Yet I was the one who decided to keep it to one 3 day-night weekend.

What is the maximum Social Security retirement benefit payable?

So IF IF IF You make over $150,000 or so for about two decades or so and You hold out till age 70 you get a measly $54,660
That of course is chump change for anyone living in a LARGE USA City where people want to live - Some large cities SUCK - Take St Louie or Chicago
AND NO I do not get the $54K cause that's the number of for those NOW Retiring. I am in the high $39Ks because I held out to age 70 but in the dark ages b4 the internal combustible engine was invented.
The best of all for US Gov added income is to get a Gov Pension for years of service ADDED to Social Security and FAR FAR FAR Better is the expected ROI of at least 6% per $100,000 Rental/Lease income from investing in Real Estate.
AIN'T Nothing under $750,000 on the Coast in So Cal. So just owning one Property - One far exceeds the Max Social Security.
I own several and own LESS based on having Partners for others. I Will buy No more - Ain't about to deal with one more contractor for renovations after buying one and I only bought one that was brand new - NOW Sold for a small fortune.
