The whole reason and premise CP is illegal is because the person can’t give consent to such pictures and is therefore exploitive. What’s the grounds for AI generated version of it being illegal? It is not exploiting a particular minor. Not trying to defend sick fucks but this means that we need to redefine what CP is. Obviously it’s pictures of people under 18, but what is the legal definition of an AI generated underage porn? What differs it that can be written into law. Traditionally it was cut and dry. The person is 17 or less, it’s CP but you can’t assign a person never mind an age to essentially a painting.

They didn't ban abortion, they left it up to the states. They did that because there was no federal law that forces states to allow abortion, the previous ruling (roe v wade) made up some incoherent defense that said privacy protections meant anyone could kill their own kid. yet the same court never said privacy allowed you to kill a born person, because clearly that's not what privacy means.
