Consider this as an alternative for 4th of July instead of Rips.

I could go for those but throw some seasoning on them. Good for eyesight too.

Indeed carrots are ideal when served with roast rabbit.

Why would I eat a rabbit? That's like my favorite animal. They're pretty cute and cuddly.

Just messing with you. Agree they are too cute to eat. Once eons ago as a child at a picnic I was invited by people near buy to join them at table and they had a large platter of Fried Chicken - Offered and ate a bit and said this is great fried chicken. Then told it was Bugs Bunny.
That was the last time as far as I know that I have eaten such. In Cambodia and other parts of Asia I have been served mystery meat. No translators nearby to tell me what I was eating.

Ya know - That never occurred to me. Large family and I think Latino. They got a good laff out of my reaction. Nor did they really say Bugs Bunny - Just Rabbit.
I have a dear gal friend - Decades of friendship and even lived with her for a while - Not on an intimate basis except that was an option I never went for - anyway she had a pet rabbit and when it died she became a vegetarian who admits she misses hamburgers.
