They weren't kidding when they said "Remember: the use of TinyChan is a privilege, not a right." Here's everything i LOVE about this site:
- It has reasonable rules.
- It's minimalist, making it feel cute as a bonus!
- The poll feature is neat.
- I love the little things like the statistics page, the setting modes, and naming the feedback page the "Wishing Well".
- Speaking of the wishing well, I'm glad TinyChan allows direct, immediately accessible feedback from users! I mean, the site is pretty obscure so reading all the feedback ain't the hardest thing, but I still appreciate it.
- I love the additional non-standard markup syntax like the bordered text and friggin' Comic Sans? What?! Oh yeah, and the emoticons, why not!
- It offers built-in themes! My favorite is Tinychan Pink. I love the varied background drawing of the TinyChan mascot who is drawn differently from the default theme!
- Oh yeah, and the friggin' Rounded Corners mode? Hell yeah!? My pants are gettin' tighter by the minute here, guys.
I'm probably going to have missed some features but you get the idea. I can absolutely overlook the new user limitations!
Oh yeah, one more thing: the name TinyChan resonates with my instincts pretty well if you know what I mean.
Wait, could this be a major factor in me loving this site?! What if its name was specifically optimized to psychologically trap people like me into being attracted to it?! CONSPIRACY THEORY!! I got you in my sights, TinyChan name creator!
(Edited 6 minutes later.)
You're a piece of shit.

TinyChan name creator!????????????????
Trust me, the creator is looooooooooong gone. Much like whatever/whomever/ created this Universe.

Apparently Jan was 16 when he created the site, so I doubt he was doing much deep thinking about names.

Just don't expect feedback on features/issues to be prompt. As you can see from dates, even fairly simple stuff has gone without implementation or dismissal for years.
