Neurotypical people to believe the stupidity of things passed down from their parents and society even if they don’t make logical sense where as an autistic would eventually see through that to realize there are better ways. Probably why autism is treated as a great Satan because neurotypicals feel threatened because that means they have to adapt to actually become an individual rather than a cog in the machine.
The reality is that being neurotypical is likely the oddity where as most of the American if not the world population is autistic. It’s like a secret that is trying to be covered up but is getting unearthed.

Autistics are self-aware they are different. They just do not have the necessary cogs in brain to change what they are.
Not that those of us in the normal range, can do much about our failings.
