You prevent baldness and lower your chances of prostate cancer, why wouldn't you take it.

You're a piece of shit.

Finasteride is also more effective if you're trans on HRT. It is also a testosterone blocker and with the added effect of estrogen it strengthens it's effects.

Possibly the reason why there are experiments being done with non-feminizing estrogen solutions when it comes to male pattern baldness.

Don't you mean a DHT blocker?

I could be... though I recall reading about those experimentations as being a new method of treating hair as a new method of treating hair loss.

Interesting. I doubt a doctor is willing to give me estrogen just because I want fancy hair, I even had to fight for finasteride, you'd be amazed how some doctors don't understand preventive care. Maybe I'll try taking some menopause supplements as some experiment lol

Probably a bad idea. There are no prescription drugs on the market right now that have non-feminizing estrogen. So you have to be careful about your estrogen intake or else you run the risk of growing breasts. There is a reason why it's recommended to have a doctor monitoring a trans woman's levels. We all have testosterone and estrogen, but the way our bodies balance it is differently. The very idea of HRT is to balance it through medication to levels that is normally produced by that particular sex. So if you're a male looking for a slight cure and/or prevention of hair loss. Estrogen is something you would have to take great care of or else you're start to shape into a female phenotype.

But honestly, try to see if you could rock the bald look. A lot of men out there look great bald and can be downright sexy.
It's not the end of the world as it used to be unless you're very very ugly.

I'm not going to take menopause supplements, was just joking. It sounds crazy but my "relationship" with my hair is totally fucked up, I like my curly hair when it's all over the place, a friend of mine thought he was taking a shot at me when he called me diablo but it felt nice. Yet people around me all have very orderly hair and so if I can I cover it up with a hat or a hood. Then around summer I will get it cut short and question why I didn't do it sooner. It's very pathological but I appreciate your encouragement
